Supporters of the Friends of the Hasbrouck Heights Library came together Sunday for a special Chinese New Year celebration which featured a live musical performance by the Hasbrouck Heights Tibetan Youth Group.

The event, a fundraiser for the Friends which work to support many programs year round at the library, was held at the Asian Grille in East Rutherford.

Two of the Tibetan Youth Group members are active with the Junior Friends of the Library shared the history of the youth group where they learn writing, reading, religion and music.
