Euclid School 'Little People Chorus' Sing Holiday Classics
Proudly wearing their elf hats the youngsters in the first, second and third grade at Euclid School came together as the Little People’s Chorus performing once again for parents and family members Wednesday afternoon.
The annual event which is put together by the Euclid School PTA has been a tradition for the past 15 years, Denise Buckman, chairperson for the Little People's Concert said. The children sang many holiday classics including “Rudolf the Red Nose Reindeer,” “Frosty the Snowman,” Santa Claus is Coming to Town,” “We Wish You a Merry Christmas,” and “Happy Hannukah.”
The children got a big surprise as Santa Claus really did come to town, showing up at the performance to hand out candy canes and pose for some photographs.
Buckman said the show could not have been done without Sandra Cerasoulo the school’s music director. Buckman also is thankful to TD Bank for donating the elf hats, Rose Brescia, co-chair of the Little People's concert, Faith Parodi for choreography and all the volunteer moms who helped out with practices and the concert.
