Gordon Sponsors Attempts To Override Christie Budget Vetoes

Senate Democrats unsuccessful in attempts to restore governor's cuts.

Following Governor Chris Christie’s line-item veto of various portions of the state’s $30.6-billion budget, the State Senate met last week to try to override the governor’s cuts. All override votes failed to pass, as Senate Democrats could only muster 24 of the 27 votes needed. Below is a list of overrides, and how your representative, Senator Robert M. Gordon, voted.
