According to the preliminary agenda for the Tuesday, Oct. 23 council meeting, the official appointment of a DPW worker is expected as probationary period is now complete and council is expected to authorize grant applications for future road improvements.

Council members are expected to give reports from borough departments including police, fire, streets and sanitation, recreation, health, library, finance and parks and public facilities. Mayor Rose Heck will present her monthly report.

There are no ordinances on introduction or up for public hearing. The  meeting begins at 8 p.m. and is conducted in council chambers at Borough Hall.
