Heights' Adam Mucci Stars Off-Broadway This Holiday Season

Mucci of HBO's "Boardwalk Empire" will star in "Let's Kill Grandma This Christmas"

Hasbrouck Heights-bred actor Adam Mucci, of HBO's "Boardwalk Empire" will star off-Broadway in a new holiday comedy this season "Let's Kill Grandma This Christmas" which opens Monday, Dec. 3.

Mucci who is known for his role as Deputy Halloran on "Boardwalk Empire" and many movie roles including "Public Enemies" and "Revolutionary Road" and numerous Broadway and TV appearances, is a graduate of Hasbrouck Heights High School where he first discovered his love for acting.

"Let's Kill Grandma This Christmas" is a twisted black comedy that says there's no place like six feet under for The Holidays. It makes it's world premiere next week at Theatre at St. Clement’s, 423 West 46th Street. Robert Nicotra and John Dapolito present this production written by Brian Gianci and directed by Dapolito just in time for the holidays.

The premise is centered around a family hungry for more than Grandma's Christmas meal plotting and scheming murder to get her money.

Mucci, who is also appeared on Broadway in "You're Welcome America" and "A Final Night with George W. Bush," stars alongside Roxie Lucas, of Broadway's "Damn Yankees" among other credits, Kevin O'Donnell of films "Salt" and "The Word" and Katie Webber of Broadway shows and "American Idol."

The show will run from Dec. 3 until Jan. 6. Show times are Mondays at 7p.m. Wednesday to Friday at 8 p.m., Saturdays at 2 and 8 p.m. Sundays at 3 and 7:30 p.m. No performance on Dec. 24, a show has been added for Dec. 26 at 2 p.m. and curtain will be at 2 p.m.on Dec. 31.
