The Relay for Life organizing committee hosted the Kick-Off celebration last week for the third annual event, the signature fundraiser for the American Cancer Society.
The event takes place overnight from June 1 to June 2 once again at Depken Field. Last week team captains and other members were able to sign-up and get materials to begin fundraising for the big event.
The first two years the event was held brought in around $100,000 in total for the American Cancer Society.
