Heights Opens Senior Center as a Charging Center, Halloween Officially Off

Residents can head to the senior center to recharge cell phones. Borough Hall reopened and is operating on generator power. Heights police confirm Halloween trick-or-treating is officially off

 

UPDATE 10:09 A.M. - Hasbrouck Heights is opening up the senior center Wednesday as a charging center for residents who have been without power for days and need a place to recharge cell phones and accessories.

Power is still out in the area of Borough Hall however offices reopened Wednesday operating on generator power.

The charging center will be open from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Hasbrouck Heights Police tell Patch Halloween has been officially cancelled. Patch will update regarding a rescheduled date for trick-or-treating once details are in place.

Schools remain closed on Wednesday. Several neighborhoods in town still do not have power.
