The Junior Women’s Club is accepting entries for this year’s Beautiful Baby contest.

Voting will once again be conducted during Town Day, which is set for Saturday, Sept. 29 at Woodland Park.

To enter your child’s picture into the contest, send a photo to Hasbrouck Heights Junior Women’s Club, P.O. Box 68, Hasbrouck Heights, NJ 07604.

The Junior Women’s Club asks that entries include the child’s name, birth date, parent’s names and phone number on the back of the photo. To have the photo returned, provide a stamped, self-addressed envelope along with the picture. All entries must be received by no later than Saturday, Sept. 15.

Voting will take place during Town Day, between the hours of 10:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., at the Junior Woman’s table. Votes cost $1 each and the proceeds will benefit the Seeing Eye, a program that provides a lifetime of companionship and guidance to visually impaired men and women. Votes will be tallied and the winner will be contacted by phone.

The winner will receive a $50 savings bond and the photo may be featured in the local news.

The Hasbrouck Heights Junior Woman’s Club is a non-profit organization made up of volunteers interested in helping those in need, and providing fun opportunities for the children of Hasbrouck Heights. Meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month at the First Reformed Church located at the corner of Washington Place and Burton Avenue. New members are always welcome.

This is a silly contest.. Everyone considers their baby the most beautiful of all. To be honest, ( most) babies are not all that stunning during their first year, yet most everyone will pay the highest compliment in the presence of the parents no matter how the baby looks to them, Trust me, my own baby photo proves my point lol....

Hi Ricky, I suppose many may feel their baby is most beautiful but this an event that benefits a charity so therefore it's a win-win no matter what :)
