New Board of Education Convenes This Week
Patch takes a look at what is coming up this week in Hasbrouck Heights
Coming up this week on Patch . .
This coming Thursday marks the first time the Hasbrouck Heights Board of Education will meet since its reorganization earlier this month where new trustee Robert LaMorte was sworn in along with returning BOE trustees Connie Doheny and Mark Stefanelli.
This will be the first official meeting chaired by new President Joseph Rinke who previously served as the vice president, a position which now trustee Lillian Romano takes over.
Patch will update on what may be discussed at this meeting once information becomes available. Check back or visit the school district's website for the meeting agenda later this week.
The Hasbrouck Heights governing body also meets this week. Tuesday night marks the second regular public meeting of the month.
It's expected the council will approve additional funding towards the Woodland Park pavillion project. As it was recently discovered some changes to the scope of the project have altered the projected costs slightly since plans were first drafted and now the borough is putting some additional funds towards the project.
See the attached PDF for the full agenda for this week's meeting.
