Cops: Woman Mugged, Dragged by Vehicle at Heights Pharmacy

Brooklyn trio was charged with robbery, aggravated assault and theft, according to Hasbrouck Heights Police.

Two men and a woman were being held at Bergen County Jail after allegedly taking part in a mugging in front of Heights Pharmacy and then dragging the victim with their getaway vehicle Saturday morning, Hasbrouck Heights Police said Monday.

Anthony Davis, Clinton Steele and Kinzy Gonzalez, all from Brooklyn, were charged with robbery, aggravated assault and theft. Steele was also charged with possession of stolen property for having stolen license plates on the vehicle, according to police.

The victim, whose name was not given, was on the Boulevard just outside Heights Pharmacy when her purse was snatched by Gonzalez, according to Detective Michael Colaneri.

The victim chased Gonzalez, who had made her way to a vehicle parked nearby. The victim attempted to open the door of the vehicle and was dragged as the vehicle began to speed away, police said.

Police said the vehicle carried the victim a few feet before she crashed to the ground.

Bail was set at $250,000 each for all three defendants with no 10 percent, police said.
