Saturday morning residents had the opportunity to hear from members of the borough’s administration as they came together to address various matters affecting the borough in a community forum setting.

A lot of ground was covered in just one hour.  Attendees received very detailed information on various matters including the sump pump situation and how it is being resolved, how the homestead rebate works, the property reassessment process which is almost complete and a run-through of how the borough dealt with the rare and unexpected October snow storm.  Those in attendance also got to see the screening of a video all about the police department.

Those in attendance are likely to agree that it was a good opportunity to meet with borough employees up close and personal and learn more about borough matters. In fact one woman commented during the forum that the information was relayed in a personable way that related to everyone.
