Shadow Food Mart has been named the winner in this week's Readers' Choice poll for favorite local grocery store.

The family-run grocery and convenience store opened last year at the corner of Washington Place and the Boulevard. The store features Green Mountain coffee, a deli with Boar's Head meat, pastas, produce and more.

Coming in second place was Minit Mart which is located at the corner of Madison and the Boulevard carries cold drinks, snacks, coffee, ice cream, lottery tickets, milk, and deli items. Also on the list this week was Nick's Quick Stop, located at the Boulevard and Walter Avenue and E Z Deli located on Terrace Avenue near Washington Place.
