Republican Club Kicks Off Campaign with Picnic Event Saturday

Club supports the re-election of Mayor Rose Heck, Councilman Justin DiPisa and Councilwoman Pamela Link.

The Hasbrouck Heights Republican Club will host a picnic event featuring food, music and family fun this coming Saturday, Sept. 10 from 1 to 5 p.m. at Woodland Park in support of the club’s three candidates who are running for re-election this November – Mayor Rose Heck and council members Justin A. DiPisa and Pamela J. Link.

Republican Club President Tom Meli, along with Steve Pikowski and Darlene Parente, are working as campaign managers to re-elect Heck, DiPisa and Link this November. The picnic event is being chaired by Dennis Nuzzo and Anthony Bernice.

Featured at the picnic will be sausage and pepper sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, clam chowder, corn on the cob, beer, wine and soda,  along with desserts, many of which will be prepared by the club members.

Ticket costs have not changed from previous years: Individual tickets cost $10 each; family of four costs $30 and children under 5 are admitted free. A game bounce will also be there for the children to enjoy along with music by DJ Ricco. The event is held rain or shine as it will take place underneath the pavilion.

Tickets can be purchased at the gate or in advance via club officers President Meli, Vice Presidents Terry Esposito and Pat Link, Treasurer Mary Kozak, Secretary Anthony Bernice, Finance Officer Joan Virile, and Corresponding Secy. Joanne Hollister, as well as all council members Sonya Buckman, Dave Gonzalez, John Dingertopadre and Russell Lipari and Campaign Chairs Steve Pikowski and Darlene Parente.
