Jesse is a medium size, senior male tiger cat. He came to the shelter when his owner moved into an apartment that did not allow pets. He is front declawed and very sweet. You will find him hiding under the blanket in one of our front displays. He is about 7 to 8 years old. Can you open your heart to this sweet senior boy? He would love to be in a loving home for the holidays. ID # 87136 Bergen County Animal Shelter

Strong and full of life, Simba, an American Staffordshire Terrier, is all power and curiosity. This 1 year old vivacious young man will need a pretty strong and confident leader to show him the ropes. Simba will make a good training partner once he gets all that pent up energy out of him. Long walks, hikes, runs, well mannered play, are all great ways to provide him with energy release. He will need to learn all the fundamentals, from loose leash walking, respectful socialization, to basic training. A little on the independent side, Simba loves to explore the world around him. CJ is a super friendly and very loving 5-year-old front declawed kitty. He is very calm and does not mind being around other shelter cats. He really loves to get attention and will look for hands to rub his head. CJ will make a great cat to any family. Pet ID: 87343
Full of life and love, Olivia is an active 5-month-old Pit Bull Terrier looking for a forever home. She will need a confident leader who will show her the ropes. Her new home should be able to provide her with rules and structure so she can grow into a more mindful and mature adult. A home without small children would be best for Olivia. A lot of basic training will do her some good: i.e. no biting or pulling on the leash, jumping, etc. Proper socialization will also be key. Although she loves to give and receive affection, she will need to learn how to politely ask for it. The more proper introductions she experiences, the happier and more balanced she will feel.
