Sunday morning hurricane whips through town
Patch hit the streets of Hasbrouck Heights early Sunday morning as heavy rainfalls still pounded down heavily on the area. Flooding was a problem on Route 17 north near Williams Avenue but local roads remained mostly clear although large puddles accumulated on many roads. Only one business was open before 10 a.m. and some residents ventured out for breakfast.
