The MTV “Jersey Shore” reality TV stars Snooki and Jwoww have been making headlines as two New Jersey towns have recently denied the show from filming their spin-off series in their towns.

Point Beach council unanimously voted to not allow MTV to film the spin-off in the town. NJ.com reports that Toms River also said no to MTV.

Last week Morristown Patch reported that the production company announced it was not going to film in the town. The report says the production company declined to say whether concerns raised by the community were a factor. A Morristown resident started a petition against the filming of the spin-off claiming it would be “bad for Morristown,” according to Morristown Patch.

Residents of Heights know that their borough is not a complete stranger to reality TV stars. A segment of Bravo’s “Real Housewives of New Jersey” was recently filmed at Hasbrouck Heights Pizza. Also Kathy Wakile and Teresa Guidice made public appearances at Heights Beer & Wine Emporium recently.

BUT if it were Jwoww and Snooki coming to town how you would feel as residents of this borough?  Would you agree with other towns like Point Beach and Toms River that it would be "bad" for the borough or would you be open to the idea?
