Five from Hasbrouck Heights receive milestone recognition from Inserra Supermarkets.
Five Hasbrouck Heights residents have been honored for their years of service with Inserra Supermarkets, which is celebrating 58 years of service by honoring 408 of its associates who have reached milestone anniversaries this year. Hasbrouck Heights’ Kliff Bajraktari, Gerald Delvecchio and Charles G. Linder have been recognized for their 25 years of service with Inserra. Also, Heights residents Karl W. Warren has been honored for 15 years of service and Liliana Maci for 10 years of service. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star will sign copies of her Red Velvet Cosmo at Heights Beer & Wine Emporium, Saturday, May 19.
Heights Beer & Wine Emporium welcomes another star from the Real Housewives of New Jersey this weekend as Kathy Wakile will be on hand to sign copies of her Red Velvet Cosmo. Wakile infused her favorite dessert, red velvet cake, into a cocktail, according to the star's website. She will be on hand Saturday, May 19 from 3 to 5 p.m. to sign copies and meet with fans. Recently Heights Beer & Wine Emporium hosted a bottle signing for Teresa Guidice of the RHONJ.

Hasbrouck Heights Chamber of Commerce and public library hosted a networking breakfast for local business owners; learned information about how ReferenceUSA can be helpful to one's business and accessible via a library card.
Nearly four dozen local merchants came together Tuesday morning for a networking breakfast at the Holiday Inn that not only gave them the chance to mingle but also supplied them with some valuable information about a resource tool that can be beneficial to their business. The Hasbrouck Heights Chamber of Commerce and public library teamed up to put this event together. Mimi Hui, library director, explained that the Heights library believes in collaboration and partnership. The new WindMill restaurant is now open at 79 Hudson Street.
A taste of the Jersey Shore has come to Hoboken. WindMill, the hot dog chain popular among New Jersey beachgoers, opened its first Hoboken location at 79 Hudson Street on Monday. The chain has won many awards, including from the reputable Zagat survey. Roger Corrado, who owns the Hoboken WindMill with his business partner Tim Cochrane, said he used to eat at the WindMill in Belmar while vacationing there as a child with his family. "I have a lot of good memories from this place," Corrado said. Corrado and Cochrane bought the franchise rights to open a WindMill in Hoboken in 2007. People came from all areas of Bergen and Passaic counties, filing into Heights Beer & Wine Emporium to meet reality TV star Teresa Guidice who made the special appearance Saturday to sign copies of her new Fabellini and meet and greet fans. The line never seemed to get shorter as more and more people continued to line up anxiously awaiting the Real Housewives of New Jersey and Celebrity Apprentice star’s arrival. Lucrezia Maurin of Wood-Ridge and her 11-year old daughter Gianna, one of the youngest fans there, were one of the first in line to meet Guidice, having arrived more than an hour before the star's scheduled appearance.
