Lots of Weekend Events [PHOTOS]

It was quite a busy weekend in Hasbrouck Heights. Many events took place in the center of town including the Friends of the Library book and bake sale in the .

The Chic Charity Club held its second annual clothing drive Saturday at the lot, a benefit for the Heights food pantry. Youngsters took part in raising funds for Alex's Lemonade Stand charity.

Across the way the borough hosted a paper shredding recycling event Saturday morning. Borough officials, DPW workers and members of the Environmental Commission were on hand with reps from Information Destruction Systems truck which shreds and recycles the paper.

A flea market also took place in the lot as part of the borough's Town-Wide Garage Sale weekend.
