The Friends of the Hasbrouck Heights Library are selling tickets to a Lord & Taylor’s Shopping event on Thursday, March 29.

Proceeds from the ticket sales support the Friends of the Library. Ticket holders who shop the Lord & Taylor March 29 event from 9 a.m to 11 p.m. at the Fashion Center mall on Route 17 North in Ridgewood, can take advantage of special discounts all day.

Mickey’s Kids Foundation will host its annual gala event on March 16 at Il Villaggio on Route 17 North in Carlstadt. Tickets cost $125 with proceeds benefitting Canine Assistants which raises service dogs for children with disabilities. The event begins at 7 p.m.

Last year Mickey’s Kids raised $32,000 for Canine Assistants , a New Jersey youngster with muscular dystrophy. Danny and his family will be in attendance at the gala along with Jennifer Arnold, the founder of the Canine Assistants organization.

Mickey’s Kids founders Tom and Michele Meli have previously said the goal this year is to raise enough funds to be able to provide two dogs for youngsters in need.  For more information email steamboatwillie1@verizon.net.

The Contemporary Club will host its annual Fish and Chips Dinner (Tastefully British) on March 22 at the from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

The Hasbrouck Heights Junior Woman's Club is holding its annual St. Patrick's Day party March 10 from 7 to 11 p.m., at the .  

The cost of $45 per person includes an Irish dinner (Corned Beef or Chicken), DJ, Irish entertainment, bottled beer, wine and soda. Entertinament includes raffles, 50/50, and door prizes.  Proceeds from this event will benefit the Junior Woman's Club Scholarships and sponsorship of Girl's Career Institute for HH Residents. Tickets are now being sold for the Junior Woman's Club annual Brunch with the Bunny event set for Saturday, March 31 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the .

Tickets cost $8 per person and include the following: brunch, coffee, dessert, entertainment and treat. Bring your camera for a photo with the Easter Bunny. For tickets and more information please call Lori at (201)-321-5274. Donations of canned goods will be collected to help the Hasbrouck Heights Food Pantry.

Due to limited seating capacity, tickets will NOT be sold at the door. All children must be accompanied by a paying adult. Proceeds for this event will be used to benefit local charities and scholarships.

The Mayor's Committee on Community Celebrations has announced the annual Easter Egg Hunt will be held Saturday, March 31 at 10 a.m. at Depken Athletic Field.

The event is for borough children ages pre-school (4 to 5) up to third grade. Rain date will be Saturday, April 7.
