Halloween Festivities Around the Corner

The Junior Women's Club annual Pumpkin Patch event returns for the youngsters, along with the brand new Doggie Costume contest.

Halloween is quickly approaching. The Junior Women's Club are now selling tickets for the annual Pumpkin Patch event set for Sunday, Oct. 21 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Woodland Park.

Children ages infants to 7-years old can pick out their own pumpkin, enjoy face painting and crafts. Kids are encouraged to wear costumes.

New this year is the Doggie Costume Contest, a fundraiser to benefit the Seeing Eye charity. This will be conducted much like the Junior Women's annual Baby Beautiful contest where voting is done at Town Day.

Voting will take place at the Pumpkin Patch event. Votes cost $1 each, of which the proceeds will benefit The Seeing Eye.
