Hundreds Support Spectrum for Living [PHOTOS]

Walk in support of Spectrum for Living brought hundreds to Van Saun Park this past Sunday.

Hundreds from all over Bergen County came to Van Saun Park in Paramus this Sunday to take part in a walk fundraiser event for Spectrum for Living, a non-profit organization which supports adults with developmental disabilities with housing and clinical services.

The walk kicked off with a performance by the Spectular Spectrums dance team and County Executive Kathleen Donovan and Mike Carpenter, Spectrum chairman, welcomed all to the event. Newark Bears Mascot Ruppert also made a guest appearance.

The non-profit group hoped to raise tens of thousands from the fundraiser. Spectrum CEO Carmine Marchionda told NorthJersey.com the goal for this year was between $60,000 and $75,000.
