Woodland Park Pavilion Work is Wrapping Up

Workers are finishing up the construction of the new pavilion at Woodland Park.

The structure and its base are all completed and now electrical wiring will be going in, said Mike Kronyak, the borough's administrator. It's expected it should be completed by end of next week.

The project began months ago with the demolition of the decades old pavilion. The new one had been structured around the old fireplace which was given to the borough decades ago by the Lions Club.

The park work is part of the borough's ongoing project to put in needed improvements to its parks funded partially by Bergen County Open Space grants.

The borough is currently gearing up to put in new sidewalks, benches and electricity to the Veterans Memorial Park on Terrace Avenue.
