Thanksgiving Day Guide: These Businesses Will be Open Thursday

Patch took a survey of which businesses will be open on Thanksgiving Day and here is what we found.

Wondering which businesses in town may actually be open on Thanksgiving Day? As expected, many businesses, including many restaurants, will be closed Thursday, however quite a few shops will be open, even if it’s just for a portion of the day to cater to the community’s holiday needs.

Both of the borough’s floral and gift shops will be open for a good portion of the day Thursday. will be open until 1:30 p.m. for order pickups and will be open until 3 p.m.

Still need to get some goodies to bring for Thanksgiving dinner, will be open from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. for order pick-ups and will also be open late on Wednesday until 8 p.m.

on Terrace Avenue will be open until 1 p.m. Thursday. will also be open in the a.m. and will close at noon. The Minut Mart will open at 8 a.m. and remain open most of the day. Incase you find yourself missing that one ingredient you forgot to pick up at the store Shop Rite in Lodi will be open Thursday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

For those who want to go out for a holiday breakfast before the big meal, on Route 17 will be open until 2 p.m. , which just about never closes, will of course be open all day on Thursday.

Many Heights eateries will be closed such as , and and most of the pizzerias such as and . will be open until noon for catering. , and will all be closed on Thursday.   will be open from noon to 11 p.m. and open for businesss at 5 p.m. Thursday.

will be closed during daytime hours but will re-open up at 7 p.m.

is open for Thanksgiving dinner but only for those who made reservations in advance. As of Tuesday afternoon, the restaurant was just about all booked up for Thursday.  

For those that may be looking for a fast food fix instead and on Route 17 say they will be open on Thanksgiving Day.

Although is known for being open just about every day of the year, it will be closed on Thanksgiving. It is the one holiday a year when the bank does not open its doors.
