What's Open on Labor Day in Hasbrouck Heights?

Patch took a poll of businesses in town to find out which ones are open and which are closed on Monday, Labor Day.

While some may be away this weekend enjoying those last few days of summer, many are planning on staying on the hometurf and may be wondering what is open on Monday.

So we took a poll of some of the places in Hasbrouck Heights to find out which ones may be open, and which are closed on Monday, Sept. 3. 

Offices in Borough Hall will be closed on Monday including the library and senior center and residents who normally have garbage collected Mondays will have to wait until Thursday for the next pick up. There will be no collection on Monday in observance of the holiday.

There's still time to get in some swimming as the will be open Monday from 12 to 7 p.m. Guest passes cost $5 on holidays, according to the club's website.

Good news for those who want to go out to eat on Monday. Most restaurants will be open such as , which will open for dinner at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.

, , and most other eateries in the borough will be open Monday with the exception of and , as they normally close on Mondays. And if you want some ice cream, on Route 17 says they will be open all day.

Need some groceries? will be open all day Monday until 6 p.m.  and Shop Rite in Lodi says it will be open all day as well.

All banks in town will be closed on Monday except for which will operate its normal business hours.

Some shops are normally closed Monday like or and keep in mind that many hair salons like , and normally don't operate on Monday.
