Fairleigh Dickinson University Collaborates with The Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching

Higher education collaboration allows graduate and undergraduate students of FDU’s Petrocelli College of Continuing Studies to use professional coach certification as transfer credits toward their degree

 

SHREWSBURY, N.J.–The Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC), a top-rated coach training school and originator of the Core Energy Coaching™ process that drives human performance and potential, has announced its collaboration with Fairleigh Dickinson University (FDU), the largest independent University in the state of New Jersey, to offer its Certified Professional Coach Training program as a recognized elective option for graduate and undergraduate students of FDU’s Petrocelli College of Continuing Studies.  iPEC’s highly effective program will help to expand students’ wealth of knowledge, create sustainable change in their lives and careers, and help them develop effective executive leadership and life coaching skills.

“Having our Certified Professional Coach Training program now offered as a preferred elective for FDU students, helps iPEC to further engage and develop top leaders in a variety of professional industries,” said Luke Iorio, President and CEO of iPEC. “Our program is a great option to improve professional development, academic success, and educational and executive leadership, and can be uniquely applied to each individual student’s career path. We know this partnership will significantly benefit FDU’s students and will reignite their passion, while helping them to identify and reach their full potential.”

iPEC’s curriculum for the Certified Professional Coach Training program has been approved for up to nine undergraduate transfer credits and up to six graduate transfer credits in selected programs in FDU’s Petrocelli College of Continuing Studies, which include:

·         Master of Administrative Science (MAS): 30-credit graduate program

·         Master of Sports Administration (MSA): 36-credit graduate program

·         Master of Science in Homeland Security (MSHS): 36-credit graduate program

·         Master of Arts in Student Services Administration (MASSA): 36-credit graduate program

·         Bachelor of Arts in Individualized Studies (BAIS): 120-credit undergraduate degree completion program

Students who enroll in one of the above graduate or undergraduate programs now have the option to enroll and complete iPEC’s Certified Professional Coach Training program, and will present a certificate of completion to have the credits posted to their FDU transcript at no charge. There are no SAT, GRE, or GMAT tests required for admission to any of these programs, and there is no application fee. Additionally, alumni of the iPEC coach training program have the opportunity to continue their studies in any of the programs listed above and utilize their certification towards credits, helping them to complete their degrees in less time and save money on tuition.
