End of Summer, School Begins Topped News This Week

Members and guests of the Hasbrouck Heights Swim Club enjoyed the last official weekend of summer with swimming, diving and even some frozen treats.

Hasbrouck Heights Middle/High School brought in an expert to advise parents on how the Internet can lead to cyberbullying and a number of related dangers out there on the Web.

Middle school and high school hosted an orientation for parents of students going into grade 6 and grade 9 Tuesday night.

Hasbrouck Heights Kiwanis Club presented 'Good Neighbor' awards to seven members of the community who go out of their way to help others.

The borough continues to look into possibly leasing space at the Public Safety Building to prospective cellular communications companies.

The old pavilion at Woodland Park will be taken down towards the end of the fall season to make way for a new pavilion which will be put up next spring.
