Heights Marks the Start of the Holiday Season

Hundreds headed to the Boulevard to witness the annual Hasbrouck Heights holiday parade

Hasbrouck Heights once again marked the start of the holiday season with its festive annual parade which brought hundreds to the Boulevard to take part in this long standing community tradition.

Marching bands played holiday favorites, youngsters got to ride on the festive floats or march with their organization like the brownie troops, HHSA and more. There were fun characters for the youngsters, plenty of candy and other treats and of course an appearance by Santa and Mrs. Claus.

The parade led hundreds to the traffic circle where Mayor Rose Heck and council members led the community in the lighting of the Christmas tree. Hasbrouck Heights Middle School Public Speaking/Glee Club led the crowd in holiday caroling.
