Heights Council Meets, Ragamuffin Parade and More This Week

A sneak peak into what you can expect to see on Patch this week

Coming up this week on Patch

Hasbrouck Heights mayor and council will convene this Tuesday night, the second regular public meeting for this month.

Monthly reports from the police, fire and health departments are expected as well as updates from other borough departments. Patch will update on what topics are expected to be discussed once details are available. Meetings always begin at 8 p.m. and are conducted in the council chambers at Borough Hall.

More Halloween events continue this week with the Ragamuffin Parade set for Saturday, Oct. 27 and be sure not to miss photos from this past weekend's Pumpkin Patch hosted by the Junior Women's Club.

New business Eye Level Learning Center on the Boulevard will host a ribbon cutting ceremony this coming Saturday at 12 p.m.

This week be sure to not miss our feature on Detective Captain Jack Delorenzo of the Hasbrouck Heights Police Department who is gearing up for his retirement at the end of this month.

Also Middle school and high school students will take on their parents this week as the second annual kickball nights take place. Both events will take place in the old gym from 6:30 to 8p.m. The high school game is set for Tuesday, Oct. 23 and the middle school for Oct. 25.
