Power Outage Affected Hundreds in Hasbrouck Heights
Hasbrouck Heights senior center at 320 Boulevard is open to residents Friday evening as a cooling center.
UPDATE 11:30 p.m. - PSE&G is reporting that has been restored in the Hasbrouck Heights are following an outage that affected thousands of customers in Bergen County Friday.
Earlier in the evening Friday, PSE&G reported that between 500 and 2,000 customers in Hasbrouck Heights were without power. Readers reported outages all over parts of the borough via the Patch Facebook page.
The borough opened the senior center Friday evening so residents could charge cell phones and cool off in the air conditioning.
Those who are still without power are asked to call 800-436-7734 to report it to PSE&G.
