SATURDAY: Republican Club Picnic and Charity Soccer Game Today

1)       The annual Wings and Wheels Expo will be held all this weekend at Teterboro Airport from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Event features vintage aircraft and auto show.

2)      The Republican Club will host its annual picnic event in Saturday from 1 to 5 p.m. The event will feature food, music and a bounce house for kids.

3)      Eight area soccer teams including Hasbrouck Heights will play on Saturday as a benefit for the Rosa Holoran Charity Fund. The Rosa Fund is named for Hasbrouck Heights soccer player Rosa Holowen who succumbed to cancer in the summer of 2010.

4)      Sunday night the borough will host the 10 year anniversary of 9-11 memorial service beginning with a procession from to the where the monument featuring steel beams from the World Trade Center will be unveiled. Speakers include Paul Carris, deacon of Corpus Christi Church, a survivor of the attacks.

5)      Once again will host a car wash this Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. as a fundraiser so teens can attend their annual retreat in October.
