TUESDAY: Meet 'Deadtime Stories' Author at Libary

Events and reminders for today

Tuesday afternoon children can come to the to meet one of the authors of the children’s horror fiction series “Deadtime Stories.” From 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. one of the Cascone sisters who wrote the series will read from “Grave Secrets” and talk to the children about how books are made into movie scripts. The event is for children going into grades 3 and up. Call the library at 202-288-0484.

At the today is line dancing at 10 a.m., advanced chair yoga at 2 p.m. and game night will be held from 7 to 9 p.m.

Camp Rec Trek continues at for registered campers. Parents are reminded that the reptile show which was scheduled for Wednesday has been cancelled. The recreation department will announce if it will be rescheduled for a later date.

The Speak Out book group for teens grades 10 to 12 meets tonight at 7 p.m. at the library.
