Thousands of children & adults with blood cancer hope for a stem cell or bone marrow donor who can make their life-saving transplant possible. They depend on people like you. The Cure For Leukemia is In You!

EcoEd Schwartz, an amazing husband, a wonderful father and a life long eco-warrior, was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), a form of blood cancer, this past November.

A stem cell transplant from an unrelated donor is ESSENTIAL to CURE him! Ed’s best chance for a match will most likely be from a donor that is Jewish, between the ages of 18 – 44, with parents of Ashkenazi descent (Russian, Hungarian and Polish).  In addition, the registry is in need of donors from specific ethnic backgrounds like Asians, Latinos and African Americans - which are under-represented in the registry database compared to the # of people in need!

If you or someone you know matches these description, please encourage them to save a life by registering at the Donor Drive this Sunday, January 5, at Temple Israel in Ridgewood, NJ.
