Bill O'Shea's Florist will once again host its annual "Good Neighbor" day this Thursday - giving out free roses to those who come in to the store and also taking in donations to benefit the Hasbrouck Heights Food Pantry.
Beginning at 8 a.m. Sept. 20 patrons can receive free roses, no purchase necessary. All that is asked is that they keep one rose and give the others away as a nice gesture to their neighbors.
The shop will take in donations of non-perishable food items and personal hygiene products which will be donated to the Hasbrouck Heights Food Pantry, which is continuously in need of having its shelves restocked.
Owner John Kosakowski is known for working to help feed those in need. During the holiday season the flower shop hosts a food drive for the Center for Food Action in Englewood through its “Buy a Ribbon, Feed the Hungry” program.
