New Daisy Troop Comes to Hasbrouck Heights

Daisy Troop 95929 held its investiture ceremony at in the Hasbrouck Heights library meeting room on Dec. 7.

"Our Daisy troop of five year olds from Lincoln Elementary and Corpus Christi school received their first patches and Daisy membership pin," according to Troop Leader Solanlly Gomez. "The girls were joined by their family and were very excited to celebrate their accomplishments. 

"They earned the promise center for their daisy petals and two fun patches, one for the Christmas parade, which the girls marched on November 29th in Hasbrouck Heights, and for the investiture," Gomez said. 

Gomez leads the troop along with Charmaine Thomas; and the troop's two assistant leaders are Pamela Hunt and Carla Potts.

"We work together equally all as leaders to our eight daisy girls," Gomez said. "We are looking forward to a year filled with lots of activities and much adventure."
