Town Day Will Have Music, Food, Giveaways and More

Annual fall family event is set for Saturday, Sept. 29. Event features music by Double Tap, community organizations, contest/fundraisers, food, games and more.

Town Day, Hasbrouck Height's annual family fun event, is set for Saturday, Sept. 29.

The free event which features free food and drink, local entertainers and tons of inflatable fun for kids will once again be held at .

Representatives of the borough's various clubs and organizations will also be on hand at this event with information, some may have giveaways.

The Junior Women's Club hosts its annual 'Beautiful Baby' contest at Town Day each year. For a donation of $1 participants can vote for the photo of the baby they think should be this year's winner. Proceeds will benefit the Seeing Eye, a program that provides a lifetime of companionship and guidance to visually impaired men and women.

The band Double Tap fronted by Hasbrouck Heights' very own Carla Culkin (owner of the ManCave) will perform at Town Day once again this year. There will also be DJ music and games.

Town Day runs from 10:30 a.m to 3 p.m. Rain date is set for the following Saturday - Oct. 6.
