Families took to Depken Field Tuesday night to enjoy the annual Fireworks display once again hosted by the Hasbrouck Heights Lions Club.

There was tons of activities for kids including a bounce house, dunk tank and even a climbing wall. Thomas Mason of the Lions Club read the Gettysburg Address, Pastor Iraida Ruiz de Porras of the United Methodist Church gave the blessing and once again Gloriana Hough sang the National Anthem and the Battle Hymn of the Republic."

"The signers of the Declaration of Independence wanted July 4 to be celebrated each and every year to bring all of us together to be loyal to our country, to be loyal to our state, to be loyal to our county and to be loyal to our communities
and bring together our families in special celebration of all of the freedoms given and fought for us by all those brave men and women who gave us liberty," Mayor Rose Heck told the audience.

Kathleen Donovan, Bergen County Executive acknowledged all veterans who "gave us the freedom to be here tonight."
