A Hasbrouck Heights tradition continues this week as the annual Childrens Fourth of July parade is set for Thursday morning at Woodland Park.
Every year youngsters under the age of 10 (who attend school in the borough) dress up in red, white and blue for this annual event. Kids can win prizes for the most patriotic costume, decorated bicycles or strollers and even parade floats.
Medals will be awarded to the winners in several categories.
Registration will begin at 9:30 a.m. and judging will be done between 9:30 and 10 a.m. with the parade procession beginning at 10 a.m.
