Yesterday's video was to share a bit of a fun. I needed a pick me up and figured so did you. So back to what's in it for you with this Hasbrouck Heights Chamber of Commerce thing that you have been hearing so much about.

We are committed to the greater good of all businesses in Hasbrouck Heights. IT would help us to help you if we could get more participation. But as I was told by Ted Turner " Lead, Follow or Get out of the Way."

Yesterday I met with the Neighbors Helping Neighbors Program at their regular Monday meeting at the Hasbrouck Heights Library. This is a national program that we are involved in that was designed to help people find jobs, and place displaced folks in the workforce. 

We found a cross purpose - to have these people , many of who are professionals in their chosen fields, marketing, accounting, IT and computers, are able to work on projects for realted to your business. 

Not only are you helping out a neighbor, but you are also, getting professional services.

One last thing, we are having the Parade this year and funding it as usual with membership dues. And as usual the few members that there are stepping up and funding the brunt of it out of their own pockets. 

If you think that $100 is too much for your business to spare to increase the visibility of your business then let us know and I'm sure we can work something out. Our goal is participation and to be able to have events to promote your business.
