Female Retriever is Eager to Find a New Home

The Bergen County Animal Shelter located in Teterboro always has great animals in their care available for adoption Tuesday to Sunday each week.

Meet Scarlett (ID#89612) a 1-2 year old female Retriever Mix. Anxious and confused, this poor sweetie is wondering what she's doing in such a chaotic place. Because she was abandoned at the shelter, the shelter has no understanding of her past, so the staff looks only to her future. Because this is an overwhelming environment, Scarlett will probably take a little longer to adjust but it's certain she will come out of her shell and will learn to bond in no time. With a confident handler, she will blossom and hopefully learn to trust once more.

Also meet Peru (ID#89828) a stunning male 2-year old Persian cat and his cage-mate Tuna (ID#89829) a medium hair/calico mix- the pair are very bonded and must be adopted together. Peru is a bit shy and can scare easily but with Tuna by his side he will know all will be fine when they find their forever family. Both are fixed and up to date with vaccinations.
