Meet Bambi, Nikki and Beggar at the County Animal Shelter

The Bergen County Animal Shelter located in Teterboro always has great animals in their care available for adoption seven days a week.

The featured pets this week include: Bambi (ID#88136)  a medium size, female pit bull terrier who came in as a stray and is such a delight, it's believed she would be a great companion for first time dog owners. Social and outgoing, this 2-3 year old is full of life and is ready to explore the world with you. Bambi wants all your attention and love so she should be the only pet in her new home.

Also meet Nikki (ID#89819), a 3 to 4-year-old Akita who is one social butterfly who knows how to keep a party entertained. Nikki has a lot of energy and will require plenty of physical and mental stimulation.Because she seems to very much enjoy meeting new people and explore different places, Nikki will need an active household who can guarantee she will blossom and learn from life experiences.

Cat lovers should met Beggar (ID#89704). He is 8 years old.  His owners told the shelter he is OK with both other cats and dogs.

Call the animal shelter at 201-229-4600 for more information.
