Meet Gidget, Venus and Tigger at the County Animal Shelter

The Bergen County Animal Shelter located in Teterboro always has great animals in their care available for adoption Tuesday to Sunday each week.

Gidget (ID#89760) is an adult, female Labrador Retriever.  Outspoken and full of life, this 5-6 year old lab is quite the adventure. Although she takes her time to warm up, she is not shy when it comes to her demands. Gidget needs a confident and firm handler who can show her the ropes and be able to say "no." Because she came in as a stray, not much is known of her history but she definitely has a bright future ahead of her. This energetic gal will do well in a household who can offer her a chance to bond again and help her show her true colors without hesitation.

Meet Tigger (ID#5240) an 8-year old Tabby cat who came to the shelter when his owner passed away. He has been spayed and is up to date with shots.

And meet Venus (ID#5432) who was abandoned with two other cats.  When they were brought in the shelter was told Venus was a long hair, but because she came in shaved down, the staff can't tell for sure.  Venus is five years old.

Call the animal shelter at 201-229-4600 for more information.
