Meet Herbie, Wendy and Andy at the Bergen County Animal Shelter

The Bergen County Animal Shelter located in Teterboro always has great animals in their care available for adoption Tuesday to Sunday each week.

Herbie (ID#89815) is a male Beagle Mix about 3 to 4-years-old. This cautious little guy was brought to the shelter as a stray and is yearning for a patient and understanding home that can help boost his self-esteem. Herbie is a bit unsure and overwhelmed at the shelter but has made improvements since he first came aboard. He loves his food, a little too much, and can at times exhibit guarding issues which his new family should be prepared to address sooner than later. Herbie deserves a chance to be himself and feel like he is loved again.

Meet Wendy (ID#5358) a small adult female Pekingese who is a lot of fun. She was found as a stray and therefore not much is known about her except that she loves toys. Not just any old toy but squeaky toys. Give her one of those, and she will be eternally grateful. Since she can't get enough of them, in fact, is somewhat obsessed over them, her owners need to be able to distract her from it and provide her with a stable playtime, where she doesn't go crazy searching for it. Enabling her to relax, will help her enjoy playtime. This happy gal is full of energy and is quite social, therefore, she'd be a great pooch to take on walks around the neighborhood.

And meet Andy (ID#89679) a medium adult male cat who is very gentle. He is neutered and up to date with shots and will be microchipped before leaving the shelter.
