The Bergen County Animal Shelter located in Teterboro always has great animals in their care available for adoption seven days a week.
Meet Reeba the featured pet of the week. She is a young, hound mix who is full of energy and can be a real handful. She needs a lot of training and would need an adult home with experienced owners. The shelter says Reeba is not aggressive but her rough behavior could be problematic. It's believed once she gets regular contact with people and regular exercise she will calm down and be a quick learner. Her exact breed mix is not known but it's believed she is part cattle dog, maybe German shepherd. Reeba is very smart and has learned some commands. She does look to her handler for direction. She is a jumping jack in her kennel but is much calmer when she is out.
