Rabbits and Dogs Will Make Great New Pals

Bergen County Animal Shelter conducts adoptions 7 days a week.

The Bergen County Animal Shelter located in Teterboro always has great animals in their care available for adoption seven days a week.

This week's featured pets are Serena and Bella (ID#89223-89224), two Dutch rabbits - Serena is eight years old and Bella is seven.  Their owner could not care for them any more.  This bonded pair must stay together.

Also meet PJ (ID#89767), a Toy Fox Terrier, who would be a great companion for first time dog owners and or families with children. At 6-years-old his owners surrendered him to the shelter as they had no time for him but that hasn't rained on his parade as he seems to know he will find a caring home that will offer him all the time in the world.

And meet Ginger (ID#89584), a 12-year old Pomeranian/Chihuahua Mix, who is seeking a patient and quiet home. This poor girl was tossed aside by her family and the shelter environment is overwhelming but she has made progress and has bonded to certain people who took the time to get her to warm up. She deserves someone who is willing to work with her and give her a second chance to live out her days in peace and happiness.

Call the shelter at 201-229-4600 and visit the shelter's Facebook page
