Sweet Cat and Dogs Available at Bergen County Animal Shelter

The Bergen County Animal Shelter located in Teterboro always has great animals in their care available for adoption each week.

McKinley (ID#89154) is an extra large, female adult cat.   This 5 to 7 year old girl will  purr as soon as you walk into the room. She sounds like a pigeon cooing. She is up to date with shots and has tested negative for Feline Aids and Feline Leukemia.

Also meet Jewels (ID#89776) a Poodle who was nervous when she first came to the shelter but has made quite the turn around. A calm and quiet home without small children would be the best for her. At 2 years old, she has plenty of energy to go around. The more people she meets, the more she will feel comfortable and confident around strangers. Jewels came in with another pooch, so a canine sibling/companion will probably help her progress when it comes to her self-esteem.

And meet Bean (ID#89733) is looking for a quiet and loving home to live out the rest of his days. At 12 years old, Bean was given to the shelter because it seemed he had little patience with youngsters, children that is. But considering his age, we don't blame him for wanting to relax and be at peace. Therefore, this calm little guy, will be better suited for an adult only home. Mr. Bean is ready to retire and simply enjoy quality time with his family; be it by the fire or watching tv on the couch.  An oldie but goodie, this cutie pie will make a great addition to any family looking for a chilled out little dude. Ready to cuddle up next to you and sleep his troubles away, Bean is a perfect companion for a low key and loving household.
