Back to School Night Cancelled Due to Building Emergency

Back to School night for parents at Hasbrouck Heights High School had to be cancelled Tuesday night when an emergency crew had to be called in to clean up a small chemical spill.

Lt. James Miller said police and fire department were on the scene to clean up the spill but there were no other details available.

No one was injured, said Miller.

A message sent to parents from the school informed parents of the cancelation and that it will be rescheduled in the near future, one parent told Patch.

School is expected to be opened Wednesday.
