BeJay's Pharmacy 'Ransacked'

Police are still investigating Monday's burglary; compiling a list of stolen items.

Police are still investigating a burglary that took place Monday at , authorities said Tuesday.

A pharmacy worker discovered the shop had been broken into upon arriving to work around 9 a.m. Monday, according to Hasbrouck Heights police.

Police confirmed that the shop's alarm wires had been cut and entry was gained through the rear door, Chief Michael Colaneri said. The shop had been ransacked, he said, and authorities are still working to compile a list of stolen items.

The Bergen County Crimes Unit is assisting with the investigation, Colaneri said.

The shop reopened its doors later Monday morning, Colaneri said.
