Bischoff Recognized for Her Role as 'Chief For a Day'

Erin Bischoff, fifth grade student at Euclid School, spent June 1 as Chief for a Day, touring the borough alongside Police Chief Michael Colaneri.

Erin Bischoff, a fifth grade student at Euclid School, who was presented with a proclamation from the mayor and council Tuesday night in honor of her service.

Dressed in her police uniform, the young 'chief' listened closely as Councilman Justin DiPisa read the proclamation in her honor and Chief Michael Colaneri thanked her for spending that day with him.

As 'Chief,' Bischoff road in a patrol car where she led the escort for her classmates from their school to the field, and spent the day touring police headquarters and visiting the county Justice Department.
