22-Year-Old Heights Woman Found Dead in Atlantic City Hotel

The Hasbrouck Heights woman and a 56-year-old Ringwood man were found dead Sunday at the Revel Resort in Atlantic City.

A 22-year-old Heights woman and a 56-year-old Ringwood man were found dead Sunday in an Atlantic City hotel room containing a variety of illegal narcotics, according to officials from the Atlantic City Police Department.

Housekeeping staff discovered the bodies of Clarissa DelCollo and Vincent Iappelli Jr. Sunday afternoon, NorthJersey.com reported Tuesday.

"A quantity and variety of illegal narcotics” were found in the hotel room, authorities told the website and there was no signs of trauma or visible signs of injury.

Police are still awaiting toxicology reports and have yet to determine a cause of death, according to the Press of Atlantic City.

DelCollo and Iapelli checked into the Revel Resort Hotel on Thursday and were to check out on Sunday.

DelCollo's grandmother told NorthJersey.com the two were romantically involved.

Iapelli was an owner of Gabby's Restaurant on Valley Boulevard in Wood-Ridge, according to reports. Restaurant staff declined to comment regarding Iapelli.
