Vehicle Flips Over on MacArthur Ave

Driver sent to the hospital for treatment for neck pain, police said.

The driver of a vehicle which flipped over after hitting a parked car on MacArthur Avenue was sent to the hospital Monday afternoon, said Hasbrouck Heights Police Officer Scott Adamo.

Adamo said it's believed the driver was going too fast travelling east on MacArthur towards the Boulevard. The vehicle went airborne when it struck the parked vehicle and overturned, he said.

The driver was given a summons for careless driving. Adamo said it is not believed the weather or road conditions led to the accident.
